Role: County Strength & Conditioning Coach
Are you passionate about developing young footballers and supporting representative squads to success? Cheshire Schools FA is looking to bring on board an additional Strength & Conditioning Coach to our expanding team.
Role Overview
As a Representative County Strength & Conditioning Coach, you will be responsible for supporting Representative County Managers during training sessions and matchdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend training sessions and matchday fixtures, supporting Representative County Managers in their delivery of the county programme.
- Prioritise the safety, welfare, and well-being of all players at all times.
- Uphold and promote values and professionalism of the Association.
- Assist in coaching sessions with the Representative County Manager and Coaches.
- Communicate with Representative County Managers and County Programme Lead regarding availability.
Essential Requirements
- A valid DBS certificate.
- Completion of Safeguarding Children in Education or an equivalent safeguarding qualification through the FA or FAW.
- A degree in Sports Science or an industry level qualification in strength & conditioning.
Desirable Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Experience working as a strength & conditioning coach at a football or school team.
- Familiarity with Cheshire Schools FA structure and operations.
