Role: Representative County Coach

Are you passionate about developing young footballers and supporting representative squads to success? Cheshire Schools FA is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to support, coach and inspire our county teams.

Role Overview

As a Representative County Coach, you will be responsible for supporting Representative County Managers, help select, coach and develop a county squad drawn from a diverse range of schools.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the selection process to secure a balanced and competitive representative squad from schools across the county.
- Prioritise the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of all players at all times.
- Uphold and promote values and professionalism of the Association.
- Coach training sessions with the Representative County Manager.
- Communicate with Representative County Managers, attending match fixtures.

Essential Requirements
- A valid DBS certificate.
- Completion of Safeguarding Children in Education or an equivalent safeguarding qualification through the FA or FAW.
- Experience in coaching a football or school team.

Desirable Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Level 2 Coaching Qualification (or higher).
- Familiarity with Cheshire Schools FA structure and operations.
