A new season of county football is just over the horizon with the Cheshire programme expanding to 6 representative teams for the 2026/27 season.

The 2026/27 season is shaping up to be an extremely exciting one as the Cheshire programme expands further, maintaining their two representative girls' sides and increasing the boy's squads to four (U14, U15, U16 and U18).
Four our U14, U16 and U18 squads, all representative teams will enter the Northern Counties League, Northern Counties Cup and the English Schools' National Cup. A full look at the fixture lists is available to read below. Note that all development games and friendlies will not be present on the fixture schedule, only competitive county games.
With our new schoolboys programme increasing to four teams, the introduction of an U15s is a step in the right direction to giving all our players and families the best opportunities to develop and grow as individuals. Given there is no official competitions within the Northern Counties FA, we are incredible excited to share that our U15 representative side was accepted to join the Midlands Regional Counties league. Their league campaign will commence in October and can be viewed below.
