Golden Boot Race 25/26

With the representative season for 25/26 coming to an end, the race for the Cheshire Golden Boot has concluded, with several players marking their mark in front of goal across all the county sides. 

Leading the pack, and clutching the Golden Boot Award for the 25/26 season was U18 representative player, Lewie Nicholas. Lewie's outstanding form this season saw him score 4 goals in his last 2 representative games, including a hat-trick against Staffordshire in the North West Counties League. Averaging a goal per game in competitive fixtures, he was a constant threat to opposition defences. His clinical finishing and intelligent movement and strength have made him of the standout performers this season. 

Hot on his heels was Carys Williams, who has also been in excellent scoring form with at a time in the season when she scored 7 goals in 8 consecutive appearances. Carys has shown great composure in front of goal and has been a key attacking outlet for her U14 side throughout the campaign. 

Tied in third position was Dennis Mulville and Edie Foster on 6 goals. Edie produced one of the standout individual performances of the season when she scored a hat-trick against Cleveland, underlining her ability to turn a game in an instant. Dennis Mulville was in fine scoring form at the beginning of the season with 4 of his competitive goals all against one county in different games: South Yorkshire. 

Just behind them placed Adam Parry and Ben Cutler with 5 goals. 

Placing on the leaderboard was Max Bowyer who scored a league hat-trick against League winners Durham at home back in February.
