Cheshire Schools FA upcoming clash with Staffordshire Schools FA has been called off.
The game was due to be played on Monday 7th October 2024 but has been cancelled due to the visitors conceding the National Cup tie.
Our U14 Girls host Shropshire in their first round clash against Shropshire.
A statement from Cheshire Schools FA secretary reads: "Due to an unforeseen circumstance, Staffordshire Schools FA have had to concede the Round 1 of the ESFA Inter Counties Cup. This means, Cheshire progress to Round 2 hosting either West Midlands or Cardiff and the Vale.
"We apologise for any inconvenience to families and players. Our staff have been working on organising a replacement fixture. If no replacement fixture can be arranged, the boys will have a training session in preparation for Lancashire away next week."
Cheshire Schools FA U16 Boys are set to travel to Lancashire in a highly anticipated Northern Counties Fixture on Monday 14th October with a 20:30 BST start.
The lads are keen to continue their good start to the season with a hard fought 3-1 win against Merseyside.
